Wikiup Natural Area

Wikiup natural area is a outdoor learning area located in Toddville Iowa north of Cedar Rapids Iowa. It is several hundred acres of mostly untouched wilderness area set aside by the state to allow nature to do what it wants.

This area contains a large variety of wildlife such as birds, deer, insects, amphibians, reptiles, and much much more. there are about 5 miles worth of trails to wander in order to view this wildlife. Be sure to bring your camera. The trails will take you through forests as well as some grasslands (in  the spring and summer check yourself for ticks) and dress appropriately. Wont say much more about this place, so instead I will describe it in pictures.
